Xavier project establishes community learning hubs for both children and young adults. We equip the hubs with technology based innovations which the learners interact with on daily basis to improve on their learning. Young adults use technology in the hubs to improve their businesses, access market and generally improve their livelihoods. Teacher capacity building is also conducted in the hubs, teachers are trained on how to use technology to enhance teaching and learning among other packages. The hubs are equipped with computers, tablets, library among others. Besides, we leverage on community based approach to enhance ownership and sustainability of our programmes. We identify a community based organization to work with or facilitate the formation of one if there is none in existence. The community based organization democratically elects the management committee which is directly in charge of hub management while xaviers project empowers them with technical skills, management and leadership skills.
