Decision makers now have their own dedicated system where they can view all relevant, updated and validated solutions. Actively guides and updates users on solutions specifically applicable for them. In moments of need, it streamlines the process, leading users towards the best matching and available solutions without having to review hundreds of product pages. Users can quickly search for alternatives or promote real need-based innovation Truvi is built around three pillars: -Comprehensive and updated: Truvi automatically collects, converts and standardizes data into an updated comprehensive geographical, cross-sectoral, needs-based database of providers and solutions in various related categories – as locally as possible. The system enables more local providers to participate and engage. -Using historical data for lessons learned: The system continuously gathers reported and surveyed data on applied solutions, along with respective quality and effectiveness assessments. This data serves as a knowledge base for each organization and clustered for our matching algorithms -Merit and needs based matching: Data on solutions, services, needs and actual field reports serves to feed our unique matching engine. Using our AI technology, we improve the prediction, similarity and comparison algorithms. Users are presented not only with the relevant and available solutions but are kept current with predictive updates on solutions according to location, culture, context, climate and more

Problem

Humanitarian aid and development is carried out by organizations who do tremendous work, but face increasingly multifaceted challenges as emergencies become more complex and protracted. Over the past ten years, the number of people affected by humanitarian crises has almost doubled, and the cost more than tripled to US$27B in 2018 . Current methods of providing assistance are being challenged. There is a need to find faster, cheaper, more effective, and sustainable ways to support relief.

Solution

Truvi is an AI-based system that provides evidence-based matching of needs-to-solutions in real time, enabling organizations to focus their efforts, time and resources on implementation and impact. Our algorithms serve as a smart fishing rod that sift through the sea of data to find the right solutions. Tailored to the need, location of implementation and context, presenting users with a concise, simplified and targeted summary of viable, relevant and available solutions to their specific need

Target Beneficiaries

Truvi Empowers decision makers, aid workers in the field, communities and individuals to make the best impact possible by using data to find and match solutions to critical needs according to the specifics of each situation, context and location in alignment with humanitarian standards. Improved access and cost effectiveness will not only make every dollar count, but will broaden possibilities for everyone - From local NGOs and INGOs to UN agencies and down to the community helping itself.

Mission and Vision

Our vision is a world where humanitarian and development aid are decentralized and needs can be solved efficiently and directly by everyone, so more people could help each other to survive and thrive. Our mission is to serve all stakeholders by harnessing data to maximize their efficiency and effectiveness, enabling them to reliably and easily find the best solutions in real time and focus on implementation and impact that will strengthen development, resilience and response capacity.

Competitive Advantage

Truvi replaces stagnant excels and limited online libraries by creating a global wisdom-based tool that enables users to find the most relevant solution to needs, past experience, location and context. It is unique not only by being comprehensive and cross-sectoral but by harnessing past experience and enabling users to make a smart, timely, cost-effective choice without external consultants, middlemen, or weeks to review hundreds of sources - empowering efficient impact and implementation. Informative sites e.g. Eng4change & CAWST provide information on a limited list of solutions for field level. 2. Innovation libraries” as GIE and Urbanleap only list info about innovations. 3. Online marketplace as “Reliefgoods” list selected solutions and only for direct sale. 4. Organizations as Oxfam that sell their items online and 5. NGO catalogues as the Red-cross that only present their approved solutions. None provide the greater perspective based on past data or smart direct matching.

Planned Goals and Milestones

Since 2018 we researched the market with a demo on several sectors and attended conferences and began solution-validating conversations with UNICEF, CEWAS, the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF), Doctors without Borders (MSF), Natan, SmartAID, Fundacion Televia, Heifer Mexico and municipalities including Tel-Aviv. Our team attended the Pears humanitarian Challenge 2019 and won 2 accelerators. Currently finalizing the MVP and heading to a field test in the Philippines.
