Students who can’t attend school due to COVID or economic reasons need access to quality curriculum. Our literacy learning platform helps organizations to rapidly and economically create literacy apps in local languages for mobile devices. Learners can teach themselves foundational reading skills via lessons that are engaging, interactive, and self-checking. Because lessons can be accessed offline, users can learn anytime and anywhere. No teacher or school required. The platform uses interactive teaching screens that enable students to learn the alphabet, phonics, vocabulary, to create and read sentences, and comprehend both short fiction and non-fiction passages. We are talking to the African Digital Hub Initiative in Rwanda to put Rwanda’s primary grade reading curriculum into our learning platform to create a literacy app in Kinyarwanda for mobile devices. Students can therefore continue their essential learning at home if they are out of school due to COVID or economic reasons.
