The Youth Empowerment Alliance, Inc.’s SOLE mission is to enhance reading/writing skills in children. YEA has developed an online, cloud-based educational platform which allows children to create books and link to a network of 900+ printers to produce single, bulk, or digital books. YEA adapted photobook software (i.e. Shutterfly, et al.) into an online learning tool with free resources. Anyone, anywhere can work with children to create stories using this platform on any topic and can print them on a home printer. The photobook business has grown into a multi-billion-dollar per year industry; the software is intuitive and easy to use. We currently have two products: 1) Rescue Writing website allows children to create their own stories, which is ideal for all settings around the world. 2) Global StoryMakers site allows for the adaptation of high-quality books from publishers around the world to be translated for geographic, cultural and linguistic relevance.
