Problem

The public health problem due to missed immunisation has resulted into high prevalence of preventable disease, morbidity, mortality and disability amongst children in the first 1000 days of life. Rewarding of caregivers have shown increase in uptake, lack of consistency and target specific rewards have not addressed immunisation apathy fully. This has increased gender based violence against women by men who feel they are being nagged to pay for treatment of young children.
