Health, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and Infectious & Vector DiseasesSEE LESS
Less than half of critical surfaces in healthcare settings are properly cleaned with a disinfectant, contributing to unnecessarily high rates of infection. While studies have shown that improved disinfection proficiency can reduce infections by up to 80%, existing approaches to reduce human error during disinfection do not improve technique effectively. Low- and middle-income countries are disproportionately impacted by healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
Highlight is an award-winning and patented color additive for disinfectants that enables even untrained personnel to immediately use a disinfectant correctly. Because it is just an additive that is combined with existing disinfectants that are already widely used, Highlight can be immediately integrated into healthcare systems to radically improve quality control and disinfection compliance. Peer-reviewed studies have shown that Highlight quantitatively improves cleaning technique.
