Send MessageMillions of students around the world do not have basic reading and writing skills. This problem disproportionately affects children who live in poverty and attend under-resourced schools where teachers lack high-quality instructional materials, have few professional development opportunities, and limited access to technology.
CommonLit has been designed to address these challenges. CommonLit's intuitive platform nudges teachers to use best practices and allows them to easily monitor student progress. Digital supports for struggling readers are found in every lesson —including an annotation tool, read-aloud function, glossary, translation features, and in-text guiding questions. In offline environments, CommonLit lessons can be downloaded as PDFs to be printed or shared via thumb drives.
